Design Engineer (Automotive parts)

【Job Description】
- Design and develop automotive plastic parts from concept to production stage
- Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA (Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Drafting)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production and tooling to ensure design feasibility
- Support mold design reviews and provide input related to injection molding processes
- Modify and improve existing designs based on testing results and customer requirements
- Ensure all designs meet quality standards, cost targets, and project timelines
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for product development and troubleshooting

【Qualification】
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive plastic part product design
- Strong hands-on experience in CATIA (Part Design / Generative Shape Design / Drafting)
- Knowledge of injection molding and mold structure is an advantage
- Experience or knowledge in NX is a plus
- Understanding of production processes, especially plastic injection molding
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
